Happy New Year!!!!

Happy New Year to all!!!! I hope it is a "stitchy" year for you all no matter what kind of needles you use!
Thank you to Agi for another great freebie! Here is the link to her great blog, "The World According to Agi".

Now on to "Blog Hop 2013"!!!
And the questions are......

What was your biggest stitching accomplishment in 2012?
What was your favorite stash acquisition in 2012 and will you be using it in 2013?

Sadly to say I finished nothing in 2012!!! It was a miracle in itself that I even stitched at all. Between family life, work and grad school, I didn't get much time to stitch. However, all was not lost! I did clean out my stitching box and get more organized! You would be suprised at all the floss I found and forgot I had! I also found some of my old, old cross stitch magazines. It was like getting them new again! I started two pieces and continued to work on (as I have for years) a large needlepoint piece. I can't say I added much to my stash, but finding those goodies deep in my cross stitch basket was like striking gold! I have several pieces I would like to do from those magazines, but I am going to try to narrow it down and get one started in the next few weeks.

  1. I, too, did some major organizing this year. Congrats on re-finding your treasures!

  2. I can absolutely sympathize with not having much time to stitch. I found myself with minimal stitching time as well, and I'm restructuring my daily schedule so I can squeeze in a little bit more stitching time this year.
